Easter 2008 - This may seem a long way away. However in 2008 Easter comes early, Good Friday is March 21, the earliest it can be. Note that schools in Bromley are only having Good Friday and Bank Holiday Monday off. The two week spring break will not happen until later in April

Sponsoring a Ugandan child's education

Those with long memories will recall that the Parish Scout Troop, the 11th Bromley, in 1999 went on an expedition to Uganda to work with and help Aids Orphans. Since then some of us have been sponsoring Ugandan children through their education. It costs  £25 per month for education, about the cost of a two pints of beer per week. We have set up a registered charity through which all monies are channelled. Any donation no matter how small is welcome.
